DR. ROGER NYQUIST Dr. Nyquist's Allen Renaissance™ Residence Organ The recent installation of Dr. Nyquist's new Renaissance 370 Allen Organ is a "first" in several categories. It is the first residence installation of a new Renaissance technology organ of this size and scope. Dr. Nyquist's large and spacious living-music room makes for a dramatic visual and acoustic presentation. The room has fine hardwood flooring and a soaring two story cathedral ceiling. Above the entry hall and adjoining dining area two organ chambers were created to house the audio systems. Upon entering the room, the final effect is one in keeping with a musician of the caliber of Roger Nyquist. Roger's latest recording, "At Home With Roger Nyquist" is another "first", in that it is the first CD recording available by a noted artist on a new Allen Renaissance Organ. It is not necessary to expand on the musical properties of the recording, especially for those of us familiar with the legend of Dr. Nyquist. We would, however, point out that due to the new Virtual Acoustic enhancement system, the sound that Dr. Nyquist creates on his residence organ needs to be heard in order to be appreciated.
